Ripples in the Pond

A new technique I tried out on a whim. Turned out really well (how come stuff like this always turns out better than stuff I sketch out or plan? ). I really love the effect of framed glass and swirls .

I'll have to admit, inspiration came from , particularly the idea about the glass jewels. She creates really beautiful stuff *o*.

Made with 24 and 20 gauge gilt copper wire and a square glass cabochon.
